DESCRIPTION

The self-evaluation tool EffSET is an instrument for higher education institutions (HEIs) to:

• Evaluate the maturity of Social Responsibility integration in the institution (Institution level assessment)
• Classify teaching concepts/courses (Course level assessment)
• Enable a qualitative-quantitative assessment of CSR-/sustainability related courses/concepts (Overall assessment)

It consists of two main parts:

• The first guides the self-assessment of 12 critical criteria that qualify the HEI's maturity of SR/Sustainability integration.
• The objective of the second part of the tool (Course level evaluation) is the single teaching course.
