DESCRIPTION

Over the course of the project, three innovative teaching formats have been developed, implemented and tested on their effectiveness. They present new CSR- and sustainability-related teaching formats based on modern teaching methods. IO4, IO5 and IO6 are 12-week courses held over the duration of one semester within a higher education program at both master and bachelor level. Their objective is to strengthen the students’ understanding of sustainable development and the sustainability goals set in the Agenda 2030 as well as the role of CSR and sustainable innovation in today’s business world. They take use of innovative teaching methodologies – such as action-based learning, design thinking, future workshops or theater pedagogy – to enhance sustainability awareness and knowledge. You can download material on the three teaching formats below. You can also check the Handbook for descriptions of them (see Handbook IO2).
