Silke Bustamante

Coordinator

Silke Bustamante is Professor for Management at the Berlin School of Economics and Law, Director of the Course Service Management and Vice Dean of the Department of Cooperative Studies. She was Visiting Professor at Kobe University in Japan and the UADE in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Before, she worked several years as a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group in international strategic projects and did a PhD program on applied microeconomics at Humboldt University in Berlin. Her research focuses on Corporate Social Responsibility, particularly on CSR Management and the role of CSR for employer attractiveness and global employer branding strategies as well as on the effectiveness of CSR related teaching.

Martina Martinovic

Martina Martinovic is a research associate at the “Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin” (Berlin School of Economics and Law), at the Department of Cooperative Studies. She studied Business Administration at the University of Potsdam and completed her M. Sc. in Business Administration there with distinction. At the moment she is doing her doctorate in business administration. Her research interests comprise especially responsible leadership, corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability in education as well as sustainable consumption.

Birgit Peuker

Birgit Peuker, Dr. phil., studied sociology at the Technical University of Dresden. Research assistant at various university and non-university research institutions. Since November 2021, research associate at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht (HWR). Her work focuses on environmental sociology and technology studies. Methodological skills in both qualitative and quantitative social research.

Fabio Pizzutilo

Fabio Pizzutilo is senior Researcher of Financial Markets and Institutions at the University of Bari where he teaches Economics of financial intermediaries. Fabio Pizzutilo is associate Professor of Financial Markets and Institutions at the University of Bari Aldo Moro where he teaches Economics of financial intermediaries. He also taught for several years Corporate finance at the same University. He published several papers on financial topics (including Basel 2, International accounting standards, Venture capital, Pension funds, Investment banking, Credit crunch, International diversification, Stock return distributions, Pairs trading, Multinational capital budgeting, Equity market neutral investments, Idiosyncratic risk, Stock market anomalies, Socially responsible investments, Social Return on Investments, Environmental risk, Education for Sustainable development), a book on the Securitization and a book on Multinational enterprises. His present research interests are in the areas of Behavioral finance, Socially responsible investments, Environmental finance and Education for sustainable development. He holds a PhD degree in Corporate finance from the University of Trieste. His researches have been selected for the presentation in many international financial conferences. He was awarded of the best paper prize at the 3rd Social Impact Investments International Conference. He serves in the editorial board of several international economics journals.

Elisabetta Venezia

Elisabetta Venezia, Ph.D., researcher and senior lecturer in Applied Economics at the University of Bari Aldo Moro, Department of Economics and Finance. She teaches Economic Evaluation of Investments,Transport Economics, and Economics of Transport Mobility inUG and PG courses. Her research activity is mainly concentrated in the following topics: sustainable transport, economic evaluation of infrastructuresand projects, costs and benefits analyses, equity in the transport sector services and infrastructures, travel behavior.She took part to the evaluation process of the university system in a project coordinated by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development(OCSE).She is author of more than 80 publications. She is coordinator/componentof several research projects groups at national and international levels. She is an active referee of several scientific journals.She has been a consultant of severalMinistries and Local Authorities as a senior economist in the transport economics and sustainability fields. She is an independent scientific expert for the scientific evaluation of the Italian research (REPRISE) for the Italian Ministry of Education and Scientific Research(MIUR). She is also component of the Italian Evaluation Body(O.I.V.).

University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU (Spain)

Unai Tamayo

Dr. Unai Tamayo Orbegozo is full professor at the University of Basque Country UPV/EHU (Spain) .Faculty of Economics and Business Studies (Financial Economic II). He has a PhD in Economics at the University of Basque Country UPV/EHU (Spain) focused on environmental marketing. He is specialist in the field of Ecological Marketing and focuses his research in several Ecological Economics related areas such as importance of environmental aspects in enterprises, strategic environmental marketing, modeling of competitive environmental advantages, ecological purchasing behavior, and waste management strategies, among others. He has co-edited 2 books, co-authored several book chapters, and authored over 80 scientific publications (such as Journal of Cleaner Production). He is involved in various national projects related to environmental and social impact metrics and Education for the integration of Sustainable Development Goals. He is also coordinator of the RI3 Network (Biomimicry Studies International Network). Moreover, he has an active participation in sustainability tasks at the UPV/EHU as a Member of the Environmental Management Committee of the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences.

Julen Castillo Apraiz

Dr. Julen Castillo Apraiz is a lecturer of Management at the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU (Spain), Faculty of Economics and Business Studies (Financial Economic II). He graduated with a PhD from the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU with an international doctorate mention. His current research interests are strategic management, quality management, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and new trends in learning, among others. His is also interested in Partial least squares structural equation modeling PLS-SEM. Cristian R. Loza

Dr. Cristian R. Loza Adaui is the holder of the Professorship of Sustainable Management and Corporate Social Responsibility at the CBS International Business School and acting director of the Center for Advanced Sustainability Studies (CASM). He holds a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration (Dr. rer. pol.) from the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (Germany), a Master’s in Management and Corporate Social Responsibility from the Pontifical University St. Thomas Aquinas (Rome, Italy), a Master’s in Catholic Social Teaching from the Lateran Pontifical University (Vatican City), and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Católica San Pablo (Arequipa, Perú). Cristian’s contribution to scholarship lies in advancing the understanding of corporate purpose and how companies address the increasing challenges of sustainability from a strategic management perspective. His research also addresses the role of different institutional frameworks in shaping corporate social responsibility and sustainability across the world. His fields of work include strategic sustainable management, circular economy, sustainability reporting, development-oriented corporate social responsibility, and international business ethics. His research appeared in Journals like Business Strategy and the Environment, Voluntas, Sustainability, and Journal of Management Development, among others. He has the privilege to teach at bachelor’s, master’s, and executive levels and serves on the Editorial Board of Technological Sustainability Journal.

Sylvia Damme

She completed her Master’s in “International Business & Sustainability” at the University of Hamburg and holds a Bachelor’s degree in “Culture & Business Studies” from Mannheim University. She has extensive experience in the design and organization of conference and dialogue formats in the area of sustainability and climate action. Additionally, she holds expertise in CSR strategy and sustainable management, communications as well as entrepreneurship in the private and non-profit sector.


 

Marina Schmitz

Marina Schmitz is a project manager, research associate and lecturer at the Center for Advanced Sustainable Management at CBS International Business School.

Additionally, she is the Scientific Director of M3trix GmbH, a consulting firm with sustainability focus. She studied Business Administration and Sinology at Trier University and is currently pursuing her PhD in Human Resources Management and Asian Business at the University of Goettingen in Germany. She spent a year abroad at Wuhan University during her undergraduate studies and six months as a Ph.D. exchange student at Nanjing University in China. Her PhD thesis is concerned with the voluntary labor turnover of blue collar workers in China.


 

Budapest Business School (Hungary)

László Varga

László Varga, project manager at the Project Office of Budapest Business School.

He has been working for more than 15 years at BBS, dealing with the international education projects since 2004 (Leonardo da Vinci, Erasmus, Tempus and research programmes), from 2014 focusing on ERASMUS+ Strategic Partnerships. His main responsibilities are project-planning, submission of new proposals, coordination of the implementation and the financial administration and compiling reports. He is member of the Sustainability Network of BBS from 2019.

Krisztina Szegedi

She has experience in the field of corporate social responsibility, business ethics and corporate sustainability both as a researcher-lecturer and as a practitioner-consultant. She was the independent Chairperson of MOL Group Ethics Council for 12 years. At BBS her responsibilities include managing the university's research activities and ethics management system, teaching of corporate sustainability related courses and participating in the work of BBS’ Sustainability Network.

Gábor Andrási

He earned his Juris Doctor degree in 2000, and the LL M in EU Law degree in 2003. Passed the Bar Exam in 2006. Prior to joining academia in 2004, he has been working as tax lawyer at the Legal Department of the Hungarian Tax and Financial Controlling Office. Served as senior lecturer, head of academic department, postgraduate programme director, manager of EU-funded projects and head of the Quality Enhancement Centre at International Business School - Budapest. He has worked at the Faculty of Business of the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) in the United Arab Emirates for almost 8 years. While working for HCT, he has earned the Fellowship of AdvanceHE, UK, and a PhD degree at Nottingham Trent University, UK. Working for BBS since 2020: first as Head of the Dean's Office at the Faculty of International Management and Business, then as Faculty Head of Internationalisation.

Ellen Saltevo M.Sc. (Economics and Business Administration) is a junior researcher at Lappeenranta University of Technology, LUT School of Engineering Science, Finland. Marko Torkkeli

Dr Marko Torkkeli is a Professor of Technology and Business Innovations at the LUT University, Finland. His research interests focus on technology and innovation management, strategic entrepreneurship, growth venturing, and decision support systems. He has published over 300 articles in academic journals and conferences. He is a Docent of Technology-based Business at University of Jyvaskyla, Finland, and holds an Affiliated Faculty position at Singapore Management University. He was a Visiting Researcher at INESC Porto, Portugal. He has more than 20 years of experience of consulting activities in innovation management and strategy. He serves as the Director of Publications of the International Society for Professional Innovation Management (ISPIM) and is one of the founding editors of the open access, multidisciplinary Journal of Innovation Management.

Daria Podmetina

Daria Podmetina is Associate professor and project manager at Lappeenranta University of Technology, LUT School of Engineering Science, Kouvola Research Unit, Finland.

As one of the leaders of regional unit (LUT Kouvola), she is responsible for research and project strategy, managing research and project portfolio, supports setting collective and individual goals and dissemination of results on regional, national and international level. Daria has wide experience in external funding sourcing, developing and managing large European research and educational projects. Daria is a leader for cross-disciplinary research project portfolio in innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, internationalization and education. As a member of open innovation team, Daria promotes open and collaborative innovation principles in research, teaching, coaching and consulting practices. Daria’s own research focus is in innovation and international management field, specifically in open and collaborative innovation, internationalization, global R&D, and emerging markets. She has over 30 academic journal and book chapters’ publications. Daria is a member of Academy of Management, a scientific board member of ISPIM (the International Society for Professional Innovation Management) And WOIC conferences. She is developing and teaching master and doctoral level courses in innovation management (including open innovation), project management, international business and research methods at LUT and internationally. Daria is actively implementing modern teaching and learning methods, blending, online education, industry challenge-based education and others. As an expert with research and practice interests in emerging markets and Russia specifically, Daria contributes to teaching thematic courses, leading workshops, speeches on the conferences and consulting related to Russian business.

Alena Chistiakova

Alena Chistiakova is a 2nd-year Master's student studying Global Management of Innovation and Technology at Lappeenranta University of Technology.

She has a background in international education and university-industry collaboration obtained during her work at Tomsk Polytechnic University (Russia). In 2017, Alena had an internship at Aalto University (Finland) devoted to academia-business-industry knowledge transfer as well as international academic programmes such as Erasmus+. Alena’s research interest lies in the area of innovation management and its human aspects. Currently Alena is a project manager of two Erasmus+ projects: EFFORT (EFFectiveness Of Responsibility Teaching) and ISSUE (Innovative Solutions for SUstainability in Education).

Bahar Bahramian Dehkordi

Bahar Bahramian Dehkordi is a master student of supply management with a granted competitive scholarship at Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT) and she works as a junior research assistant with Kuovola unit of LUT.

She is also project manager in some projects running by LUT Kouvola team. She completed her bachelor studies in business administration in Tehran University in Iran with distinction and used to be teacher assistant in many courses during her bachelor.
